Mobile Application Development

Mobile apps that earn a place on the home screen

A mobile app competes with every other icon on the device. We focus on the things that decide whether it gets opened twice: launch speed, offline behaviour, and interactions that match platform conventions instead of fighting them.

Overview

What this covers

We build cross-platform applications where a shared codebase is genuinely the right call, and native where it is not. That decision is made on your requirements — background processing, hardware access, performance ceilings — rather than on fashion.

Release engineering is part of the build, not an afterthought. Store submission, staged rollouts, crash reporting and over-the-air updates are set up before the first public release.

Business benefits

Why this matters commercially

What the work changes for your organisation, beyond the software itself.

  • One team, both platforms

Shared business logic and a shared design system mean iOS and Android stay in step instead of drifting into two different products.

  • Works when the network does not

Considered offline and poor-connectivity behaviour, so the app degrades gracefully rather than showing a spinner forever.

  • Predictable releases

Automated builds, staged rollouts and crash monitoring, so shipping an update is routine rather than an event.

  • Respects the platform

Navigation, gestures and typography follow each platform’s conventions, which is what makes an app feel trustworthy.

Deliverables

What you receive

  • Platform and architecture recommendation
  • Shared component library and navigation structure
  • API integration layer with offline handling
  • Push notification and deep-linking setup
  • Store listing preparation and submission support
  • Crash reporting, analytics and release automation

Our approach

How we work through it

  1. Prototype the risky part first

Whatever is most technically uncertain — sync, hardware access, a tricky integration — gets built first, while there is still room to change direction.

  2. Test on real hardware

Including older mid-range devices. Simulators hide the performance and layout problems your users will actually hit.

  3. Automate the release path early

The pipeline to the store exists before there is anything to ship, so the first release is not also the first time it is attempted.

Technologies
